COORDINATOR III, MULTICULTURAL INITIATIVES The coordinator will be responsible for improving the persistence and retention rates of students of color at Salt Lake Community College. To meet the unique educational needs and skills levels of students of color, the Multi-Ethnic Coordinator will work directly in the areas of outreach, enrollment, retention, and graduation of those students by providing services, training, advising, and mentoring to ensure increased competencies in their chosen academic or professional fields. COORDINATOR IV, MULTICULTURAL INITIATIVES (South Campus) To improve ethnic minority students' persistence and retention, the Coordinator will provide academic support for ethnic minority individuals and groups, assist with recruitment efforts, organize and conduct outreach, and coordinate with instructional departments and community leaders to assist with meeting the needs of ethnic minority students.
