Richard Harwell Called to Seminary Council

Richard Harwell, son of President Donald L. and Jerri A. Harwell, has been chosen and called to be on Hillcrest High School's Seminary Council for the 2005-06 school year. It will be Richard's senior year and his fourth year in Seminary. As a council member, Richard will be responsible for planning activities throughout the year, filming movies around the annual seminary theme, and attending summer seminary activities. He has already attended a sunrise breakfast and hiking activity. "I'm hoping to have fun serving on the council," he says. The seminary council consists of one representative from each of the ten stakes covered by the Hillcrest High School boundaries. Richard represents the Midvale Utah Union Fort Stake. Richard, age 17, is a priest in the Union Fort 4th Ward and is active in The Genesis Group's youth program.
