Sam Robinson Baptized

On Sunday, November 11, Sam Robinson was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints—and became an official member of the Chula Vista Stake Cultural Group. "This young man is a golden contact and the first in his family to be baptized," says President Anthony Boyd. "He had many questions about the Church, including questions about the Blacks and the priesthood. After answering his concerns, I was blessed to baptize him." According to President Boyd, there was a great deal of support for Sam from both the single adult ward and the Chula Vista Stake Cultural Group. "He is looking forward to growing in spirit and working with our group," President Boyd added. "I am tremendously excited to have him." Welcome, Sam!
