William Blake Sonne is the president of the Utah Salt Lake City Mission; he was called from the Windermere Ward in the Orlando Florida South Stake. Formerly an Area Seventy, President Sonne was also a former stake president and counselor, bishop, sealer, and missionary in the Central British Mission. He is the retired COO of the Arnold Palmer Golf Management Company.Born in Los Angeles, California, to Joseph Dean and Hazel Blake Sonne, he is married to Elizabeth Kay Bickmore; they are the parents of five children.
An Institute and Continuing Education teacher, Sister Sonne is a former ward Relief Society president, ward Young Women adviser, temple ordinance worker, and gospel doctrine teacher. She was born in Pocatello, Idaho, to Levi Smith and Ellen McMinn Bickmore.
